Purchase Ledger Officer

Siamo Recruitment, a division of Siamo Group, is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and maintaining accurate records of all purchase ledger transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile daily supplier invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Process bank reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in invoices or statements
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment to suppliers
- Prepare and review monthly expense reports
- Update ledgers and maintain accurate accounting records
- Resolve any accounting issues that may arise
- Generate weekly reports for supplier payments and approved payments
- Support with month-end tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide credit control assistance and allocate sales ledger payments
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other key systems, including Orderwise and Freshdesk
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
