Purchase Ledger Officer Job Description

Siamo Recruitment, a division of Siamo Group, is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and maintaining accurate records of all purchase ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile daily supplier invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process bank reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in invoices or statements
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment to suppliers
  • Prepare and review monthly expense reports
  • Update ledgers and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Resolve any accounting issues that may arise
  • Generate weekly reports for supplier payments and approved payments
  • Support with month-end tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Provide credit control assistance and allocate sales ledger payments
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other key systems, including Orderwise and Freshdesk
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
