Job Overview

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in North Norfolk, focusing on intellectual disability. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on managing complex mental disorders and challenging behaviors in individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and experience in managing complex cases. They will also be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The estimated salary for this role is £97,000 - £124,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties
  1. Assess referrals for complex mental disorders or challenging behaviors in individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  2. Provide advice and guidance on managing these complex cases within the CLDT.
  3. Support rehabilitation efforts by conducting outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits.
