We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a category A male prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of the prison.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out painting and decorating tasks to a high standard, ensuring a safe and secure environment for prisoners and staff.
- Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues from various trades to achieve common goals.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the prison's facilities, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a maintenance team, preferably in a prison or secure environment.
- An honest and reliable character, with a strong sense of purpose and pace.
