Technical Support Job

The Menu Partners Ltd is looking for a dedicated professional to assist the Technical Manager in ensuring our business adheres to all relevant laws and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Audit Preparation and Compliance
    • Ensure thorough preparation for audits to guarantee smooth site visits.
    • Conduct regular GMP, hygiene, and internal audits, closing out any outstanding actions.
  • New Product Development (NPD) Support
    • Participate in factory trials and document NPD processes.
    • Oversee trial samples for microbiological and shelf-life testing.
    • Guarantee all necessary documentation is complete before product launches.
  • Quality and Process Improvement
    • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across production areas.
    • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with set standards.
  • Data Management and Reporting
    • Log and resolve customer complaints, addressing both internal and external issues.
    • Perform environmental and listeria swabs, water samples, and shelf-life verifications as required.
  • Calibration and Equipment Management
    • Ensure timely calibration of all equipment, maintaining the site calibration matrix.
  • General Support
    • Provide backup to the Technical team during holidays and absences.
Requirements:
  • Experience in technical roles within food production.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and BRC standards.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible attitude.
  • High attention to detail and strong observational skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
