About Opogo:

The Role:

We are seeking dedicated SEMH Learning Mentors to support students' social, emotional, and academic development. As a SEMH Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent and effective support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
