About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager - Logistics to join our team at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the logistics and freight procurement processes, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials while maximizing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that optimize logistics and freight operations
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable freight and transportation providers
  • Develop and manage the logistics category sourcing strategy, working with regional leads to deliver a global plan in agreement with the Procurement Director
  • Monitor and analyze transportation and logistics costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to optimize spending
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with logistics and freight operations, including evaluating potential disruptions and developing contingency plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance, to ensure alignment and support for procurement logistics strategies and initiatives
About You
  • Thorough knowledge of 3PL, Freight & final mile Courier market, supplier capabilities and competitor activity
  • Previous procurement experience within Cosmetic or Personal care business
  • Strong data analysis capability to support category strategy development
  • Sound legal contract knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work at an extremely fast pace, without making unchecked errors across a wide range of cost initiative projects at the same time
  • Strong negotiation skills with clear demonstrable consistent cost saving achievements both from tendering and negotiation, as well as project managing value engineering cost initiatives
