About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join our Pre Assessment service, operating over 4 departments on the Castle Hill site. This is an expanding role, requiring the ability to work independently from a Qualified Nurse and embracing new ways of working as the role develops.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality nursing care to improve patient experience
  • Work well in a team, be reliable, and have a passion for the provision of high quality nursing care
  • Support the Qualified Nurse in the delivery of patient care
  • Undertake pre-assessments and testing such as ECG, phlebotomy, etc.
  • Work under own initiative and as part of a team

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Health/Health & Social Care
  • Substantial previous B2 experience in a relevant field, ward or department
  • Experience of undertaking pre-assessments and proficiency in testing
  • Good verbal and written skills, good communication skills, and IT skills
  • Ability to work with the public and work under own initiative
