Cancer Treatment Consultant

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is proud to announce a vacant position for a Cancer Treatment Consultant. We offer a comprehensive salary package of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Role SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist oncological services, developing a site specialist and research interest, and working closely with colleagues in other Divisions. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to cope with pressure, and response to change.
- To provide specialist oncological services to the population served, including common cancers and agreed appropriate oncology subspecialties.
- To liaise with colleagues in oncology, haematology, and palliative care to provide inpatient cover for oncology patients.
The successful candidate must have full GMC Registration, MB ChB or equivalent, FRCR or equivalent, and inclusion on the Specialist Register or eligibility within 6 months. A research degree and good IT skills are desirable.
