Macmillan Dermatology Clinical Nurse Leader

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team as a Macmillan Dermatology Clinical Nurse Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients living with skin cancer.
The successful candidate will work as part of a designated Macmillan Dermatology Team, delivering high-quality clinical care that focuses on the direct needs of the patient. This includes working with Dermatology and Oncology clinical teams to improve the clinical pathway and ensuring Person Centred Care for people living with skin cancer in North Wales.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing evidence-based clinical care pathways
- Working with patients and their families to identify their individual needs and create personalized care plans
- Collaborating with other clinical teams to improve the experience and outcomes for people living with skin cancer across North Wales
- Providing education and support to healthcare professionals and patients on skin cancer management and treatment options
Requirements:
- Experience of managing and interpreting complex communication situations and sensitive information
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
