Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Assistant to support our client in the Romford area. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture within the organisation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Investigate accidents and near misses
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training materials
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate health and safety training programmes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
  • Certification or training in health and safety is a plus
