Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Adult Learning Disability Clinical Psychology Department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary colleagues to provide high-quality psychological input to clients with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver adapted talking therapies, behavioral and systems-based interventions, and bespoke formulation-driven input to clients with learning disabilities.
- Provide consultation and supervision to colleagues, including trainee Clinical Psychologists, and be involved in trainee teaching and supervision of research projects.
- Contribute to the development of the team's health and well-being, facilitating discussion and formulation of team activity, and providing brief psychological support to colleagues as needed.
- Good Honours Degree in Psychology.
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Clinical Supervision training for Doctoral trainees.
- Advanced Training in research design and methodology.
- Significant experience of qualified Clinical Psychology practice.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches for mental health work assessments.
This is a permanent Band 8a or Band 7 Development post, with opportunities for progression to Band 8a once the necessary competences are met.
