About the Role

At Sigma Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and experience working in a manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for supporting quality elements of new component development, providing support for product improvements on existing parts, and ensuring that components meet defined specifications through hands-on auditing processes.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, cash plan healthcare, and 25 days' holiday + Bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting quality elements of new component development
  • Providing support for product improvements on existing parts
  • Liaising with technical members of staff on projects and regarding non-conformance of products
  • Ensuring that components meet defined and agreed specifications through hands-on auditing processes

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working in quality in a manufacturing environment
  • Desirable experience of automotive or plastics manufacturing
  • A technical or engineering qualification
  • Familiarity with quality tools and techniques such as 8D, FMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.
