Job Title: Water Utility Framework Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Water Utility Framework Manager to oversee the management of multiple clean water utility frameworks throughout the North East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the successful management of frameworks
  • Management / Supervision and coaching of Site Managers to ensure effective running of operations
  • Responsible for overseeing operational and technical elements of multiple water utility frameworks
  • Responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered within financial budget and tight time constraints with regular reports back to the Directors
  • Management of KPI's and production of staff
  • Monitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental issues, working closely with the SHEQ team to ensure safe delivery of works
  • Responsible for the management of subcontractors, plant, and materials
  • Key contact in liaising with the client and local authorities whilst conducting regular progress meetings
  • Effective monthly reporting to the Framework Director
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and communicating relevant contractual information as required
  • Identify and implement opportunities/improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contracts
  • Lead on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as required
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution to any arising disputes or escalations with suppliers
  • Ensure that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policies and are auditable with crucial documents, information and communications confidentially stored
  • Complete contract close-out, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal, and assisting procurement teams where applicable for re-procurement

Requirements:

  • Must be an experienced Water Contracts Manager who can organise and manage the completion of site works, for delivery, from a SHEQ and commercial perspective
  • Should have at least 5 years Management experience working on Water Utility Projects ideally for a main contractor
  • Excellent knowledge of Utility Projects and legislation within the Utilities Industry
  • Professional qualified with NRSWA Supervisor / SMSTS and NEBSOH / IOSH as a minimum
  • Proven track record of successful delivery from start to finish
  • Excellent commercial and programming awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
  • Full UK driving licence

Additional Information:

  • Must be highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
  • This job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes Office
