Job Overview

Reqiva is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and architecting complex software systems, resolving technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems using Golang, Node.JS/Typescript, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve technical challenges, and implement best practices for software development.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality code is delivered.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software development.

Requirements

  • University degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of commercial industry experience in software development.
  • Strong software development skills, with experience in Golang, C++/Perl, and other languages.
  • Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with high-performance, low-latency systems with 24/7 uptime.
  • Experience with front-end technologies and frameworks such as React and/or Flutter.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
