Senior Principal Software Engineer

As a key member of our high-tech software company in central Reading, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, design, and architecture, with a proven track record of delivering high-performance software systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Creation and development of coding standards
  • Collaboration with senior management to provide engineering expertise and help achieve business goals
  • Extensive commercial experience in software engineering, design, and architecture
  • Microservices and highly scalable software systems
  • Programming experience with languages such as C, Go, Perl, Ruby, C++, Python, and Rust
  • Cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Front-end technologies such as React and Flutter
  • Software security standards and PostgreSQL

We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days a week spent in our brand-new office in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, growing company working on high-impact projects.
