Senior Principal Software Engineer

As a key member of our high-tech software company in central Reading, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial experience in software engineering, design, and architecture, with a strong background in microservices and highly scalable software systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creation and development of coding standards
  • Work in conjunction with senior management, providing engineering expertise to help achieve business goals
  • Extensive programming experience with one or more programming languages, including C, Go, Perl, Ruby, C++, Python, and Rust
  • Cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Front-end technologies such as React and Flutter
  • Software security standards and PostgreSQL

We operate a hybrid working model, with 2 days a week spent in our brand-new office in Reading, offering amazing facilities and a collaborative environment.
