The role of the MS Nurse Specialist is to deliver a high-quality, specialist service to adult patients with established MS and those undergoing diagnosis. The post holder will act as a source of advice and information for patients, carers, and health professionals, working in collaboration with other members of the MS team to improve MS care for the local population.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be an advocate for patients, carers, and their families, promoting patient-focused care and acting as a resource for the multi-agency team. This will involve:
- Improving patient experience
- Preventing unnecessary ED attendances and hospital admissions
- Decreasing length of stay

Key Requirements
The post holder will need to have:
- Registered Nurse qualification
