UK Literary Scout Maternity Cover Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Literary Scout to join our team on a maternity cover basis. As a key member of our scouting team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring top fiction and non-fiction titles for our international publishing and film & TV clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the publishing industry, including agenting, foreign rights selling, and editorial processes. They will be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. An additional language is a plus, as is familiarity with Bradbury Phillips.

Key responsibilities will include scouting in the UK, Australian, and Canadian markets, as well as managing client relationships, tracking submissions, and overseeing office systems and book fair scheduling.
