UK Literary Scout Maternity Cover Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UK Literary Scout to join our team on a maternity cover basis. As a key member of our scouting team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new titles for our international publishing and film & TV clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active scouting in the UK, Australian, and Canadian markets
  • Looking after clients and tracking submissions
  • Reading, writing, and sending out reader's reports
  • Overseeing office systems and book fair scheduling

Requirements:

  • At least three years' publishing experience
  • Existing London contacts
  • Organised, self-motivated, and outgoing
  • Solid understanding of the publishing industry
