Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure health and safety standards are met and exceeded.
- Investigate and report on health and safety incidents, near misses, and accidents.
- Develop and maintain a positive safety culture across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
