Nursery Overview:


Bright Horizons Barley Barn Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool is a reputable nursery that provides a nurturing environment for young children. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Room Leader to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Ensure a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children
  • Develop and plan learning opportunities and exceptional care to help children meet their individual milestones
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
  • Build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child

Required Qualifications and Experience:



  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, preferably as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Effective communication skills
