Role Overview:

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement at AB Agri. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, providing insightful financial analysis, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial, Supply Chain & Procurement teams to provide support and insight into financial and operations performance.
  • Develop and automate Supply Chain Reporting to enhance business decision-making.
  • Combine financial, non-financial, and operational metrics to identify and deliver improvements to business financial performance.
  • Utilize analytical tools and data to support informed decision-making.
  • Challenge and identify improved waste management strategies aligned with the zero-loss culture.
  • Complete month-end duties as required.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to ensure business continuity.
  • Support Continuous Improvement teams in achieving the profit improvement plan, preparing financials, KPIs, and tracking progress.
  • Prepare procurement cover reports, identifying risks and opportunities linked with pricing/buying.
  • Prioritize sustainability and environmental impacts in business decisions aligned with the plant protection strategy.

About You:

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong background in finance.
  • Excellent budgeting and forecasting knowledge/skills.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong finance systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Data analysis and interpretation expertise.
