Financial Analyst

Mint Selection, a leading Energy platform, is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their European Investment arm.
The successful candidate will support the initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities in renewables and broader energy transition, including CCS/CCUS, Green Hydrogen & alternative fuels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial and valuation analysis of investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to inform investment decisions.
- Monitor and report on the portfolio/pipeline, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with market research, economic conditions, and industry developments to inform investment strategies.
- Regulatory updates: Monitor and analyse regulatory updates & policy changes affecting the business.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A or a comparable environment.
- Commercial exposure to the Renewable / Infrastructure sector.
- Strong quantitative, analytical skills, financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Outstanding academic record with a degree in a relevant discipline.
Mint Selection offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 2/3 days spent in the London office.
