MRI Clinical Superintendent

We are recruiting a Clinical Superintendent for our MRI department at Js3 Recruitment.
This role entails acting as a direct line manager, overseeing other modalities or the entire Radiology department as needed.
The post holder will collaborate with Imaging Management to develop and implement strategies, aligning their efforts with the hospital's overall vision.
Primary Duties:- To deliver high-quality patient care and efficient operations within the MRI department.
- To conduct a wide range of MRI scans to a high standard, working closely with radiologists to optimize imaging results.
- To maintain a safe working environment by conducting regular risk assessments and enforcing safety protocols.
- To supervise and train MRI radiographers/cross-sectional radiographers.
- To offer emotional support to staff members.
- To participate in Senior Management Team meetings for Imaging and drive growth initiatives within the MRI department.
- To manage the training of radiographers in MRI scanner operation and maintenance.
- To chair the MRI Non-Ionising Radiation User Group and report to the Local Radiation Protection Committee to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
£62,000 per annum salary plus excellent benefits package available.
