About the Role:

  • Design and develop new components using SolidWorks and CATIA software, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) using non-linear techniques to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the development of customer programs from conception to production before ownership of NPI.
  • Provide value-added engineering support to internal and external teams as required, delivering support and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain expertise in design software, FMEA, and process knowledge to drive success in this role.
  • Collaborate with industry experts and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
  • Develop technical proposals for customers, clearly outlining product features, validation, and specifications.
  • Conducted product qualification testing and prepared comprehensive reports, including QTP (Qualification Test Plan) and QTR (Qualification Test Report).

Requirements:

  • A degree or high-level achievement in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in technical design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks & CATIA design software.
  • Knowledge of FMEA, particularly non-linear techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
