About the Position

We are looking for an exceptional Youth Support Assistant to join our team at a prestigious Special Needs School in Cambridge. As a key member of our staff, you will provide vital support to students with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop personalized learning plans for students
  • Assist students during lessons, promoting their engagement and understanding
  • Provide emotional and social support to students with complex needs, including personal care
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
  • Proficiency in English Language (Mandatory)
  • Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
