Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable individual to train apprentices in automotive technical skills at our sector-leading training centres. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive technical skills and be up-to-date with the latest technology, including electrical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and education in a safe and effective manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Use a range of training methods to engage and motivate trainees.
- Prepare and use training aids to support learning.
- Assist the team leader and automotive manager in maintaining discipline and ensuring trainees comply with company policy.
- Assess trainees against industry standards and awarding body requirements.
- Contribute to the development of VQ training and assessment processes.
- Ensure trainees receive training using current methods and stay up-to-date with technological developments.
- Provide welfare support and guidance to apprentices and employers.
Essential Skills
- Industry-recognised qualification in Automotive Maintenance and Repair Level 3 Light Vehicle or equivalent.
- Proven track record in electrical diagnosis and ability to use modern automotive technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality training.
