About The Role

Morrison Water Services part of the M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Traffic Management Operative. You will be working on our Yorkshire Water contract in the from the Normanton Depot.

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will be part of our TM department. Responsible for the installation of all types of traffic management and to assist with site clearances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out, maintaining and removal of road closures and diversions
  • Take site set up and dismantle photographs.
  • Carry out and record daily vehicle checks.
  • Loading and unloading all aspects of traffic management onto vehicles and making sure all vehicles are sufficiently and safely secured.
  • Carry out and complete site-specific risk assessments and amend when necessary
  • Use a stop/go system of work.
  • Install, run up, set timings, maintain and dismantle temporary traffic light signals.
  • Maintenance of traffic management sites including battery exchanges

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification - NRSWA unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding.
  • Have a full and thorough understanding of the Safety at Street Works and Road Works, A code of practice document.
  • Able to read, understand and follow CAD drawings.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and able to walk and stand on uneven ground.
