Lecturer in Animal Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Animal Management Lecturer to join our team at Sparsholt. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a range of subjects within the animal management curriculum, including theoretical and practical instruction.
- Develop and deliver curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluations to ensure student success.
- Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and stay current with industry trends.
- Relevant Animal Management or related subject qualification, such as a Higher National Diploma or Honours Degree.
- Experience working with learners from 16 years of age, with a focus on general animal management subjects and learners with specific learning needs.
- Ability to demonstrate competent handling of a wide range of animals and hold or be willing to attain a recognized teaching qualification, including the A1 assessors award.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners.
