Animal Management Lecturer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Animal Management Lecturer to join our team at Sparsholt College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, focusing on general Animal Management subjects and learners with specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach a range of subjects within the animal management curriculum, including theoretical and practical instruction
- Liaise with staff, course teams, and the Assistant Principal to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
- Develop and maintain a suitable learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Participate in curriculum development and review, contributing to the enhancement of teaching and learning
- Relevant Animal Management or related subject qualification, such as a Higher National Diploma or Honours Degree
- Experience of teaching and assessing students, ideally in a further education setting
- Ability to handle a wide range of animals and demonstrate competent handling skills
- Willingness to attain a recognized teaching qualification, including the A1 assessors award
