Therapeutic Horticulture Specialist

Bridewell Gardens is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for individuals affected by serious mental health conditions. As a Therapeutic Horticulture Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve recovery and well-being through the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
About the Role
You will work closely with our team to plan and deliver horticultural activities that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. This may include leading group sessions, conducting one-to-one assessments, and collaborating with staff and volunteers to ensure a seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver horticultural activities that promote recovery and well-being
- Lead group sessions and conduct one-to-one assessments
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure a high-quality service
- Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals affected by serious mental health conditions. You will also require experience working in a mental health setting, as well as professional training and experience in occupational therapy, mental health, or social and therapeutic horticulture.
