Role Overview:
The Payroll Team Lead - Senior Role is a key position within our payroll department, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes. As a senior team member, you will be responsible for managing a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality payroll services to our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality payroll services.
Ensure the smooth operation of payroll processes, including the completion of payrolls, adherence to deadlines, and maintenance of accurate records.
Develop and implement processes to improve payroll efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll services with other HR processes.
Provide training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior management as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior payroll role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of payroll professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make recommendations to senior management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across the organization.
Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
