About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team as a Family Support Specialist, providing early help and prevention services to families and children in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council area.

The salary for this role is approximately £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to early help requests over the telephone or via email, collating and analysing information to recommend the right service for identified needs, and providing families with details of self-help offers and universal services.

You will also signpost to professionals to support services, communicate effectively with families, young people, children, and professionals, and understand when potential safeguarding concerns need escalating/stepping across to statutory social care services.

In this role, you will be working in a multi-agency forum alongside the Safeguarding Hub as part of a supportive service rated as "GOOD" by OFSTED.
