Financial Support Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the purchase ledger, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and query resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and manage daily tasks such as bank statement imports, credit card payments, and cheque processing.
- Input journals into ERP systems and provide monthly departmental financial reports.
- Assist in month-end tasks and provide general support to the Finance Team Leader.
- Offer basic absence cover for other team members and take on ad hoc finance tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs experience is advantageous)
- A hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50, or similar financial software is a plus.
