Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our MST-CAN Team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive interventions to support families affected by child abuse and neglect.

Your primary focus will be on providing intensive, home-based therapy to children and young people at risk of entering care. You will work closely with family members to develop treatment plans and deliver sessions that address specific problems and risk factors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with family members
  • Delivering intensive, home-based therapy sessions (up to 9 months) to address complex needs
  • Collaborating with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the family

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups

Salary: £37,938 - £40,476 per annum
