Compliance Manager, Private Assets

At AXA Funds Management, we are committed to acting with integrity and transparency in all our business dealings. As a Compliance Manager, Private Assets, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our investment activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely advice and training to our investment teams to facilitate their adherence to compliance policies and global standards.
- Identify regulatory changes in the relevant business area and effectively communicate these to the business.
- Assist with the implementation of regulatory developments, working collaboratively with the business to facilitate appropriate impact assessments, gap analysis, and relevant implementation requirements.
- Assist in projects to provide compliance analysis and review of new business initiatives and developments of AXA Funds Management.
- Build a close working relationship with investment teams across the business and compliance colleagues in various global locations.
- Significant proven asset management experience gained in a compliance function, in an investment management environment with exposure and familiarity in managing related retail and institutional compliance issues.
- Experience and knowledge of alternatives investment business, including real assets, private equity, infrastructure, hedge funds, and private debt.
- Thorough understanding of the investment management business servicing both institutional and retail clients with a particular focus on alternative investments.
- Technical regulatory expertise of real assets, alternative, and private equity investment management regulation.
- Ability to build business relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all areas of the business.
