Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Development Lead to join our team in Horley. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment that promotes the holistic development of young children.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement curriculum and activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  2. Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
  3. Evaluate children's progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  4. Maintain effective relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  5. Support children's learning and development at home and in the classroom through collaboration with parents and caregivers.
  6. Manage accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavior, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  7. Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
