Clinical Lead Officer- Accreditation Specialist

Duration: 18.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Estimated Salary: £15,428.40 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for ensuring clinical work is safe, meets professional standards, and complies with regulatory requirements.
The post holder will collaborate with the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance within the service offer.
Key responsibilities include overseeing client and participant caseloads/files, involvement in assessment and client allocation for projects and newly developed areas of the Options Wellbeing workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar organisation.
- Previous experience of case monitoring and achieving accreditation status with a professional body like the BACP.
- Experience advising on safeguarding processes and leading on accreditation efforts.
- Proven leadership skills, including recruitment, induction, and training of Volunteer Trainee Counsellors and Associates.
- Membership of the BACP or equivalent professional body, with accredited membership preferred.
- Qualified and experienced in practice for 5 years+, with a Clinical Supervisor qualification or working towards.
- Completed clinical compliance training, with a focus on quality assurance and patient safety.
