Dartford, Kent, United Kingdom ACES Full time

About ACES

ACES is a pioneering independent provider of NHS ophthalmic care in the community. Our mission is to ensure all patients are given a choice when it comes to their eye care, providing them with life-changing cataract surgery in as little as four weeks.

We've been providing NHS eye care in the East of England since 2007 and will be expanding this year across the UK. Our range of services includes cataract surgery, YAG laser treatment, glaucoma treatment, oculoplastic, and general ophthalmology.

Our patient-centric approach focuses on delivering exceptional care without the requirement for a hospital stay. We strive to reduce waiting times for patients with eye conditions, create additional capacity in secondary care, and provide a fast and efficient patient-focused pathway.

Job Description

This practical 'hands-on' role involves varied responsibilities including scrub assistant, anaesthetic assistant, pre-operative assessments, and preparing patients for their cataract treatment.

Candidates must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous theatre or scrub experience.
