Role Overview
We are seeking a Trust and Safety Associate to join our team to support our growing marketplace and establish Artsy as the most trusted online destination for purchasing fine art. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve post-sale disputes involving claims of authenticity, damage, and description inaccuracies
- Perform KYC and AML verifications for Artsy users
- Monitor transaction and auction activities to identify and address potential fraud
- Collaborate with internal teams on the development and enforcement of our Trust and Safety policies
- Address user issues related to security incidents, unauthorized activities, and other suspicious events
- Drive Trust and Safety initiatives across the business
Requirements
- Currently authorized to live and work in the United Kingdom
- 1-2 years of experience working within an eCommerce environment, Operations, or Trust and Safety
- Thorough attention to detail
- Proven skills in time management and effective prioritization
- Strong communication and mediation abilities, especially in high-pressure situations involving internal and external parties
- Ability to adapt in stressful or unexpected situations
- Experience in fraud, investigations, or policy compliance is an added plus
