Prospero Integrated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Maintenance Controller to lead and develop our warehouse and workshop scenic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day tasking of the workshop and scenic warehouse team.
- Oversee the construction and preparation process of our equipment to ensure the highest possible standards and deadlines are met.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Manage stock and consumables in the workshop.
- Perform maintenance on workshop equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the Head of Scenic on day-to-day and forward planning to ensure best use of department resources.
- Provide training and assistance to other departments as needed.
- At least 5 years' experience in the professional live events industry with a specialism in scenic construction.
- Self-motivation and ability to lead by example.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and CAD plans.
- Good working knowledge of workshop tools and machinery.
- Excellent carpentry skills and knowledge of various materials.
- Experience with CNC machines is an advantage.
