About the Role

Bucks Mind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Safe Haven team, providing crisis support and mental health services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of crisis support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement effective risk assessment and safety planning procedures to ensure the well-being of service users.
  • Collaborate with the Buckinghamshire Mind Operational Management Team to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in crisis support and mental health services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a mental health or crisis support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with mental health problems, including crisis intervention and safety planning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
