Job Description

Job Title: Model Risk Officer, VP/Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Model Risk Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the model risk management functions and local RISQ management teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Model Risk Coordination: Orchestrate the coordination between central model risk management functions and local RISQ management teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  2. Single Point of Contact: Serve as the single point of contact for MRM teams and central ALM model reviewers, providing timely and effective support.
  3. Model Risk Oversight: Oversee the UK-based execution of the model inventory process, identifying critical models for SGLB and SGIL.
  4. Communication and Training: Communicate effectively with local model users and ALM model reviewers, providing guidance on good practices and training on new tools and processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in risk management and model risk, with a strong understanding of banking environments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create good relationships with stakeholders across different departments and geographies.
  • Education: Relevant degree in a field such as risk management, finance, or a related field.
