Job Summary:
Trafford Council is seeking a dedicated and inspiring instrumental tutor to deliver music lessons at various schools within the borough. As a ukulele and guitar instructor, you will be responsible for teaching children of all ages and skill levels, promoting a love of music and enhancing their educational experience.

About the Role:
This part-time position involves teaching instrumental lessons during weekdays, with a mix of one-to-one, small group, and whole-class sessions. You will work closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality music education, supporting the development of our students' musical talents and creativity. Experience in teaching classical and rock/pop styles is essential, with a strong focus on standard music notation and tab notation where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver instrumental lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
* Teach ukulele and guitar classes, including whole-class projects (Wider Opportunities)
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, aligning with curriculum requirements and student needs
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:
* A passion for music education and a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction
* Experience teaching whole-class projects and instrumental lessons
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities

What We Offer:
* Competitive salary: £26,716 - £33,901 per annum (Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale 3-6)
