About the Role

The Director of Infrastructure at this thriving manufacturer of precision engineered components is looking to strengthen the IT team with the recruitment of a skilled professional who will support operations in Burnley.

The key focus of the role is to organize and oversee the lifecycle, security, and maintenance of computer infrastructure including servers, storage, network systems, and management components.

Responsibilities include building, deploying, maintaining, and repairing network and computer infrastructure, installing, evaluating, and maintaining network systems and communications, assisting with network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost analysis, acting as an escalation point for the helpdesk team and infrastructure technicians, monitoring daily backup operations, performing regular health and security monitoring of network, server, and end-user equipment, and supporting and maintaining Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO configurations.

About You

We are seeking an experienced IT professional who can demonstrate a strong background in IT infrastructure management. Microsoft and/or Cisco certification is highly desirable.
