We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Corporate Treasury team as a Senior Vice President - Treasury Dealer. This role is located in London (hybrid), where you'll be responsible for managing the balance sheet and liquidity across the BNY Mellon banking and broker dealer entities. You will deploy liquidity in suitable/approved instruments with the goal of optimizing revenues and reducing balance sheet costs while managing compliance to all internal and regulatory requirements and balance sheet constraints.

This Senior Vice President - Treasury Dealer will be a key member of the EMEA Funding desk. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Deploying surplus firm and client money liquidity by utilizing short-term money market instruments such as interbank placements, FX swaps, repos, bank CDs, central bank placements, and intercompany placements.
  • Funding and liquidity management in accordance with all internal and external regulatory limits including LCR, NSFR, Internal Liquidity Stress Testing, Volcker limits, market risk limits, credit limits, large exposure limits, capital limits, CASS rules, etc.
  • Overseeing day-to-day management of the legal entity liquid asset buffer requirements and testing sources of liquidity identified in contingency funding plans.
  • Ensuring optimal collateral management across various sources and uses.
  • Managing market and liquidity risk arising in the banking book by working closely with ALM/Balance Sheet Management functions to optimize liquidity, IRRBB, and capital requirements.
  • Maintaining robust systems, controls, and processes, including adherence to trader mandates and desk procedures.
  • Collaborating with Lines of Business on Liquidity and Balance Sheet Management topics. Frequent interaction with external parties, including market counterparties, CCPs, and central banks.

To Thrive in This Role, You'll Need:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualification in finance, economics, or a related field. Proficiency in math, statistics, or computational finance is preferred, along with an MBA, CFA, or Accounting Qualifications.
  • Bank or broker-dealer treasury dealing experience is essential.
  • You should have a strong understanding of financial markets and experience trading treasury products.
  • Familiarity with CASS rules is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure are required.
  • Highly motivated individuals with an ability to influence and present to internal stakeholders are sought after.
  • A passion for financial markets and preference for strong macro-economic and technical analysis skills are desired.

Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. An attractive salary reflecting your expertise, with opportunities for growth and career advancement within our organization.
