Procurement and Contract Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Officer - Contracts Management to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our contracts management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of contract management, from initial capture and proposal through to contract award and administration.
Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive contract functions, including contract solicitations, negotiations, and terms fulfillment.
- Provide business advice and guidance to various functions to ensure effective contract management.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and delegation of authority and approval requirements.
- Lead audits to verify compliance and support contract-related activities.
- Administer complex contracts with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Officer or in a similar contracts management role.
- Expertise in managing contracts for major projects, programmes, and complex agreements.
- Strong knowledge of commercial/contract models and risk management.
- Keen attention to detail with strong analytical, report writing, and organisational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Experience in MOD/Defence contracts management.
- Experience in a business development role, supporting capture management and bids.
