Workshop Coordinator Role

We are looking for a skilled Workshop Coordinator to join our team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating workshop orders and projects, working closely with the workshop team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales department in workshop-related quotations, especially for non-standard jobs.
  • Coordinate the order process after receipt of the Purchase Order or Project Handover until completion.
  • Plan workshop orders and monitor progress.
  • Participate in planning meetings with the workshop team.
  • Handle communication with external and internal customers.
  • Order handling and secure documentation for invoicing.
  • Purchasing from subcontractors, direct and indirect.
  • Arrange and coordinate deliveries.
  • Shipping papers and specialist transports of Propulsion specific items.
  • Maintenance, Calibration, and Buildings.
  • Supplier maintenance and compliance.
  • Monitoring of sustainability and Environmental Waste.
  • Supporting the Operations Team when required.

Requirements:

  • Accountable for tasks and responsibilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer service mindset.
  • Multi-tasker with high attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to work and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing.
