Smarter Alloys is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As an integral part of our design process, you will be responsible for creating innovative mechanical components for our Extract Energy heat engine solution.

We're looking for someone with experience in powertrain design, structural design, and mechanical power transmission. Your primary goal will be to design, build, and test mechanical components that meet the high standards of our company.

This is a full-time position working in a state-of-the-art facility with a flexible work schedule (40 hrs/week) and core hours between 10:00am – 3:30pm. The competitive salary for this role is $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

You will have the freedom to work on your projects independently, while being responsive to the iterative nature of the work and communicating effectively with the rest of the team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience, and a minimum of 4-5 years of related product development/manufacturing experience in a mechanical design role.
