We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our team as an Immunisation Programme Coordinator at Vaccination UK.
As a key member of our School-Aged Immunisation Service, you will be responsible for promoting, delivering, and facilitating various programmes directed by management.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/education and public health school-age immunisation programmes.
- Promote and facilitate collaborative working between team, schools, and other educational institutions and families in the delivery of the immunisation programme.
- Ensure the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations, and the procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.
- Assist in identifying home-schooled children and those in Pupil Referral Units.
- Maintain databases to ensure records are kept up to date and documents are prepared for school visits.
- Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure for School Immunisation (SOPs).
- First point of contact for all administrative tasks.
- Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport of vaccinations to site.
- Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
- Assertive, team player, and critical thinker.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Must be able to drive.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade C in both English and Maths.
Vaccination UK is one of Europe's largest independent providers of travel clinics and public vaccination programmes.
Founded in 1998, today Vaccination UK has specialist clinics covering most of Denmark and the UK, where the company trades under a number of brands, including Danske Lgers Vaccinations Service, Vaccination UK, London Travel Clinic, and Citydoc.
Vaccination UK also works for both the Danish and English National Health Service as a contracted service provider of immunisation programmes in schools and national influenza vaccination programmes.
